The Supreme Court has upheld the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America.
Amendment II.
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Frankly, I'm surprised. The way things have been going, I wasn't sure they would.
I would like to say thank you. Especially since I believe that it was put into the Constitution not only to allow us to protect our own person, but to protect us from government. Oppressive government, one that does not govern by the "Consent of the People".
In a time where it doesn't seem that the government even listens to the People it's governs, this recognition of one of our founding principles is vitally important if we are to survive as a nation.
So to the Justices of the Supreme Court, I say thank you.
